OVERVIEW

Avalon, according to Celtic legend, is an island, represented as an earthly paradise in the Western Seas, to which King Arthur and other heroes were carried at death. My "Avalon Pendant" design eludes to something that nobility might have worn. It's right angle weave base and pendant both showcase a feminine, lacy edge, and are heavily embellished. The pendant is suspended from the necklace like a crown jewel.

PROJECT DETAILS

Project Difficulty: Intermediate/Advanced This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of the following stitches: RAW, Even count peyote, Square, and picot stitches

Techniques Used: RAW, Even count peyote, Square, and picot stitches

Materials: Cylinder Beads, Pearls, crystals and various size seed beads.
