Meet Twyla

There's an indescribable joy in taking small bits of glass and combining them in a way that creates and results in a new and unique something! This is my love of bead weaving and the thing I feel most passionate about in my life. I discovered this passion in 2011,  when I took a beading class at a local bead store, with a friend. I have been hooked on bead weaving, ever since and I wouldn't have it any other way!

As a Pacific Northwest Native, I was born and raised in Washington and have spent all of my adult life calling Oregon, home! You may possibly see influences of the Pacific Northwest throughout my work via different color schemes and textures. I especially love the ocean and oregon's beaches.

I have always considered myself a creative person and have dabbled in several arts and crafts over the years. A few years ago, I owned my own graphic design company. It taught me so many things about design, color and balance.  Today, I use those skills to create my own original bead weaving designs and  to illustrate tutorials of those designs, and offer them for sale to other people who enjoy and love bead weaving, as much as I do!!
